Making a Hanger Snowflake?

I made the snowflake from plastic hangers, but what can I use in the center to keep the snowflake from flopping around when you pick it up. I didn't use duct tape to join. I used zip ties to hold the hangers together.

I would wrap a pipe cleaner around the center.

Use an ornament that is flat. Hot glue it to cover center hole

I cut out a circle out of 1/2 inch plywood, painted it white then screwed each of the 6 points into the wood. It made it very sturdy!!

Zip ties! I love this video! I don't know who the guy is but his finish flakes are adorable. I like his techniques much better than the old way with pipe cleaners or bread Twisties. They always rusted and the flake would need redone. This year it is going to be zip ties all the way!!!

You could use discrete rods with clear tape to keep them stiff, and to keep them from flopping
