Total Time: 1 hour

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Cut two pieces of chipboard to the size of desired journal cover and back.
Cut two pieces cardstock, 1/2" smaller than chipboard cover and back.
  2. Making a Journal with a Jeans Pocket - chipboard and cardstock cut

  3. Cut two pieces of fabric for front and back of chipboard, 1 1/2" larger than size of chipboard. Sew around three sides of the jeans pocket to the front piece of fabric, leaving the top open. Make or purchase decor for the front of your journal cover. I used drier sheets cut into three different size circles and used a spray paint mist to color. Sew a button in the center. Use two silk flower leaves. Glue flower and leaves onto cover.
  4. Making a Journal with a Jeans Pocket - coloring the dryer sheet circles, mist bottle, leaves, and button above the circles
