Making a Scarf from Scraps

A few years ago I started making hats and scarves from the "fun" or "fur" yarn, which is quite expensive. I had made a lot of scarves and realized I had so much scraps that could not be used and had no idea how I could use them. I bought a book that showed me how to use the circular needles for scarves. Almost all the scarves in the book used only a few rows of yarn at a time. I began using some of my scraps for scarves and discovered that they were even prettier than the original scarves I did. I also found that if I use a size or two bigger needles than the yarn requires, that the scarf will be much softer and will drape much better. Then a friend told me they were selling these scarves in the high-end stores for $50 or higher. What a great homemade gift for friends. Now I am using my scraps up and having the time of my life!
