A female has laid 10 eggs, she returned this morning to see 1 broken out of nest and one moved from nest and then flew away. Will she return to finish nesting?

Dear Judy,
My husband and I have watched a mallard lay eggs. She has sat on them pretty much all day until today. I have not seen her, and two eggs are broken. There about 8 left. Will she come back?

she's probably not done laying yet. once she is she will stay on all of the eggs
