Been making these for years! A great quick dessert for one or two. We like the carrot cake the best.

Is it possible to use a 2 step angel food mix? I do not have a 1 step angel food. Possible to mix together the 2 packets from the one step thoroughly before adding the other flavor of cake mix? I have asked this question from other sites, but NEVER RECEIVE an answer??

I don't understand what you mean by a 2 step cake mix?

A 2-step Angel Food requires that you prepare the one packet of mix before stirring in the 2nd packet.. ie possibly the egg white portion of the mix. I have had wonderful luck using the 2 step process mixes but I am not sure if I can use that kind of mix with the Microwave cup cakes. I know that most cake companies have gone to the 1 step mixes, but I still prefer using the 2-step mixes.
