Montgomery Ward Record Player Value?

An open record player cabinet. So we've had this in our basement for a long, long time. Not sure about the history of it, but I do know it's a Montgomery Ward Record Player and it's old. Any clue as to how much this would be worth if I was going to sell? Thanks

Looks like a nice console but you would probably have to supply more pictures (close ups) of the piece as well as information on model number etc that should be located on the back of the unit.
Close up pictures will show the turntable and radio also.
These units cannot usually be shipped so your area will dictate the final value as it should be listed as 'local pick up only'.
How is your area? Have you ever seen a console on the curb waiting for someone to pick it up - free? This is my area as no one really has room for pieces like this.

But - you could live in an area that likes these and would pay good money for one in good condition.
Is your unit working? Everything? speakers? Player?

Montgomery Ward items are usually placed on the low end of value but this is vintage so it may have more value.

I would suggest you post some good pictures and a full description on some forums and see if they can help you.
Check out pictures on these links so you can get a better idea of what you need to display.

The price of such consoles can range from $ 25 to $ 1000. The price depends on the condition and demand in your area, as delivery is very expensive.

From what I have seen on ebay, similar players in cabinets are worth in the $225 range.

Thank u very much I've looked around at ones that are similar before I posted on here, but the price range had a huge gap. As far as I know, everything works on it and it's in really good condition

Is it fully functional?

Does it have a record player (what speeds) or a record player, 8 track or cassette deck and/or radio?

Where are you located?

With a little more info, I can help you figure the year (1950s-1980's) and the value.

I do have it posted on Craigslist n Facebook marketplace. We hooked it up n the 8 track works, speakers work, the tuner isn't picking up any radio stations n not quite sure if the record player actually works cuz we didn't have a way to try it out at the time. However, we just found a bunch of records in the basement so we're gonna check it out

I found 1978 Montgomery Ward Christmas Book, page 307 with an advertisement similar to your console christmas.musetechnical.com/.../0307. "60-inch pecan finish console with 8-track player". The style is Mediterranean.

You have a 70s Stereo Console record player Montgomery Ward Airline 8 track radio.

I found a Vintage Montgomery Ward Airline Stereo Console 1970s (Turns on, Radio works, Speakers work, Turntable spins, but needs a needle. Cassette player untested, there is damage to the wood surface) that was auctioned for $ 30
www.ebth.com/.../3143308-vintage-montgomery-ward-airline..., the price does not include shipping.
