My Little Reject (Tabby Cat)

Your Pet's Age
1 year

Your Pet's Breed
Mixed Breed Tabby Cat

How and when did you get your pet?
Born under my house.

What does your pet like to do for fun?
Eat, sleep, and chase her brothers.

Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
When a "him"icane was hitting, MommaCat was in a panic to save her drowning kittens. I went out and grabbed the kittens out of the puddle that was fast turning into a lake in our yard. MommaCat followed me into the house where we dried the kittens and placed them on the floor beside her. MommaCat finished grooming each kitten, fed the 3 sisters and tried to reject this one.
She finally nursed her when I removed the other 3. After that I always had MommaCat nurse Ject first. All 4 kittens and MommaCat are doing wonderful. I kept Ject and returned the other 4 to their owner.

What a sweet story! Thanks for rescuing this little family from their predicament, which could have ended so badly. Best wishes to you and all the kitties!

Ject is now all grown grown up. She was the runt and looks to be about 4-6 months in size. She's a little sweetheart and follows her big brothers every step. She also MUST be petted if the boys are being petted and she sees it happening.
Not a mean bone in this baby's body. All she wants is love -- and to HIDE from strangers.
She turned out to be a Tortie instead of a grey tabby. Tortie markings did NOT define until she was about 6 months of age. Even our vet was surprised it developed at such a late age.
