I would call the vet after 24 hours, especially if the dog seems uncomfortable.
I stayed up with her and finally she went at 6 in the morning. Thank you for answering my post. She is very happy now

I am so glad she went potty. Nerves can do that to them! Once you learn her habits, it will cue you in on any future potty pattern changes.
If she seems stressed after a month, you may want to talk to your vet about a small, short dose of an antidepressant. We had to do this with my sister dog as she came from a bad situation and it took a little extra help to have her trust people and stay on a good schedule.
She has been fine since that short dose, which broke the cycle of her anxiety. Dogs are very much like people that they can be affected by past events.
