My dog, a Labrador cross is not going to the bathroom or eating his food that the animal Humane Society gave us. We got him yesterday and we are worried.

He is a new member of your family who is afraid and trying to adjust! You could always try new food for him. I hope he is not teething,this can change his eating.Walk him as much as you can,feed and water.If he doesn't go in the next day or so,contact the Vet!
Give him time to get used to his new surroundings. It wont take long.
He is new and probley scared or he could've got abused in hisold home so give him some time he should be fine

He sould be fine. You just need t ogive him a lot of love. You might want to try and boil up a few pieces of chicken and take out the bones.
I hope by now this has resolved! We have had the same issue with our rescues--they get stressed just like we do and it affects all systems. If things don't change by day 3, time to get the vet to give the pup a look see! Good to establish him quickly just on general principles! Wishing you both lots of amazing adventures together!
