Peanut Butter Filled Brownie Cups

Ingredients for peanut butter filled brownie cups. A friend of mine gave me some brownies the other day and they were heavenly. They reminded me of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup in brownie form.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 35 minutes

Yield: 12

Ingredients:

1 box brownie mix
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 egg
3 Tbsp cream cheese
1/3 cup creamy peanutbutter
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg

Steps:

Prepare brownie batter according to package directions. Add l/2 cup chocolate chips to batter.

In a separate bowl, mix softened cream cheese, peanut butter, egg, and sugar together. Whisk until smooth. Set aside.

Mixing together the peanut butter filling.

Spoon brownie mixture into muffin cups about 1/3 full. Spoon a tablespoon of peanut butter filling onto top of brownie mixture. Add more brownie mixture over the top of the peanut butter filling.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes.

Sounds delicious, I will make these for our next family gathering. What size box of the brownie mix, the 13x9", family size or the 8x8" size? Thanks for sharing.
