Total Time: 15 minutes

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Trace a circular object on your cardboard box.
  2. Penny Top Spinner - trace a lid to make a circle

  3. Cut circle out. (Since I made two spinners for each child, I traced 2 - you will only need to trace the cardboard box once)
  4. Penny Top Spinner - cut out the cardboard

  5. Optional - Trace circular object again on colored paper to cover the cardboard packaging. Cut out and glue the pieces together.
  6. Penny Top Spinner - trace onto colored paper if desired, cut out, and glue to the cardboard circle

  7. Using an eX-acto knife, cut out a slit in the center of the circle (smaller than the penny just a tad and slide penny into place).
  8. Penny Top Spinner - use X-acto knife to cut a slit for the penny. Insert a penny.
