Perming Hair After Dyeing?

I dyed my hair with a white dye today and I'm thinking of perming it soon. How long do I have to wait to perm it?

Some people say wait one week, but that is for super healthy hair. Most people wait 2-4 weeks and spend a lot of time with conditioners or hair masks to keep hair from getting brittle.

If you have never done your own perming, it may be best to leave it to a pro just so your hair does not get over processed.

Wait at least two weeks and preferably a month. Deep condition weekly.

In order to be on the safe side shop recommend that you wait 6 to 8 weeks before perming your hair after it has been dyed.

A white dye? Sounds harsh. Probably at least a month.
