I bleached and dyed my hair 4 months ago and redyed it 1 month ago. I just permed my hair and it is falling out everywhere! Please help me. What should I do? I don't want short hair.

It is never a good idea to bleach and perm your hair even if you do them months apart. It will grow back, as the roots are not damaged, but the hair strands are not strong enough to take that kind of abuse - sorry. As a hairdresser, I turned many women away who wanted perms over their bleached hair. There is no product or pill that can save it. Best of luck to you, and I am so sorry you had to learn this the hard way.

I bleached my hair once, and it turned green, teal, pink, and white. Yep you read that right. So I bleached it again and then I dyed it a pastel purple. Then the nightmare began and it started falling out left and right. I don't know what to do and I am freaking out!

Please help me out, any suggestions are helpful!

Oh my...if this was me, I would talk to my doctor because there could be an allergic reaction going on and if that is the case, perhaps they can give you something to combat the allergen.

A dermatologist would be ideal, but your PCP can (I would hope) help.

Post back what you learn. Prayers and blessings.

You probably damaged your scalp. I would get a short cut and deep condition weekly. Do not use flat irons or anything harsh until your scalp heals.

If your hair is falling out, you should see a doctor. Usually, it takes a very serious illness to cause the hair to actually fall out.

I'm inclined to think you used the term loosely. Not that I'm expecting an answer, but, is your hair actually falling out by the 'roots' or is your hair breaking off at the scalp?

If the latter is true, I, too, would suggest a wig. I see no need to shave the scalp.

I bleached my hair over a month ago and I had to bleach it again tonight, but I just ran my fingers through my hair and a lot of it is falling out. What can I so to make this stop? I don't want to lose my hair.

You may have damaged your hair, your scalp, or both. Leave your hair alone. Do not use any heat tools on your hair until it begins to recover.

The best thing to do is moisturize your hair very heavily. Not regular conditioner, but a protein treatment .

It might be a little more expensive. Good luck! P.S. It'll be fine. Hang in there!

Double check with your pcp to make sure there is not an underlying health issue. Thyroid issues often cause hair loss the bleaching may not be the culprit at all or it could have just exasperated things. Diabetes and other health challenges can also cause hair loss/damage. Safely first!!

Post back with what you learn! Healing prayers!!
