Plug on NuWave Oven Hot After Use?

It may be normal for the plug to be slightly warm but never should it be hot to the touch. I would suggest that you not use it as using it could create a fire hazard situation.

• You do not say if you have been using the nuwave oven with no problems in the past or if this is your first time using the appliance.
• You should contact the nuwave company first and inform them of the problem and see what type of solution they offer.

This is potentially dangerous. You could have a problem with either the plug or socket

If it's extremely hot to the touch then that could be bad. I would contact the manufacture and let them know about this issue and see if they'll send you a replacement.

Prongs hot.

Step 1
It is normal for prongs to be hot on the plug for a couple of minutes.

Step 2
Check all wiring and cords for damage just to be sure.

Step 3
Always unplug when not in use.

Step 4
Do not leave it unattended when using.
