Pressure Canning

Tomato Sauce was put in dishwasher to keep hot before putting in Presto Precise Digital Canner for pressure canning. The jars all sealed when I got them out of the dishwasher. Dishwasher set on Pro Wash, no soap, and Hi Temp Rinse. Is it safe and if not, how do I reprocess in the Precise Presto.

The jars are sealed but that doesn't mean that they are safely canned. I would process them in your pressure canner as if they were still unsealed. If you want to be really safe, I would reheat the sauce in a pan and refill the jars.

If they have been at room temperature more than a few hours, I would probably start from scratch to avoid any foodborne illness. You don't want to make your family sick.

Good luck!
