Ranger Heater Blowing Cold Air When Fan Comes On?

I have a '99 Ford Ranger 3.0 with 200000 miles. Heat comes out of the vents until the fan turns on, then it blows cold air.

You could have an issue with the blend door.

In my case it was a blend actuator that costs over $2000 (that was the lowest of the bids) to repair because they have to rip the dash out to replace it. I love the car so I deal with it!
