I just read old postings on how to use plastic bottles to keep them out of the landfill.
Please recycle plastic bottles. There is a big demand for them in the recycling industry. The recycling industry has created many jobs as well as saving the life of our landfills. Recycling also saves valuable resources from which plastic bottles are made.
I find plenty of them on the roadside when I'm picking up litter. I do wish people would take the environment more seriously and not throw out their litter and recycle everything they can.

I strongly agree with your concerns. I watched the video, and I was familiar with this, but I think many people aren't, or they haven't realized the impact humans are having and what we can do to change this.
I watched a film on Netflix called "Plastic Ocean", which was also very informative. And scary. One thing about it, this is not a political thing to be batted about.
