I think this is a histiocytoma. Histiocytoma looks like a red button-like lump, histiocytomas are often found in young dogs, particularly on their limbs and normally go away quite quickly. But you should still have them checked by your vet as they can imitate some very nasty cancerous tumours.

You may want to check with your your vet. They might need to aspirate the mass to rule out anything serious.

You took the first step contacting the members here, because you are concern. This is your fur baby and a member of your family.

As a member, you would want to get professional advice (Vet) to check this out. It could be all or nothing, just be safe.

If your pet has something like this and it doesn't go away in a few days, it is always best to consult a veterinarian.
Sometimes there may be reasons that prohibit someone from taking their pet to a veterinarian but now there are other ways to consult a vet or even a vet technician.
As a general rule, PetSmart has a vet tech on duty and they can usually tell you if your pet may need to see a vet or if there is a DIY product available in the store. They may also have a virtual vet to recommend.

Virtual or online virtual veterinarians are available that can look at your dog (phone) in cases like this and provide a diagnosis and medication if needed.
These services are usually a lot less expensive than a vet visit.
Your own vet may also offer this service.
