Removing Heat Marks from a Wood Table?

I wanted to iron quickly, so I threw a damp towel, like I normally do over a wood table. This time it left marks on the table. I need a quick remedy to get the steam marks off the table. It needs to be something quick; it was at my employer's home.

Try 50/50 of white toothpaste and baking soda , rub into the area, wait about 30 mins and then buff with a soft cloth.

Rub mayonnaise into the stained area, let it sit awhile and then buff it off

Step 1
Wash the whole surface first. Put a thick cotton towel over the marks. Put the iron on top of a towel over the stain and apply steam. It should take the stain out.

Step 2
Use olive oil over the top of the table, rub it in well.
