I have several rubber slide marks from my grandson's sneakers on my hardwood floors. I have tried several fixes (eraser, Magic Eraser, etc), but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how to get rid of these marks?

I did some research on what to use for rubber scuff marks caused by shoes and one idea was to try a tennis ball or a pink eraser children use in elementary school. Good luck!

Apparently you have done your research and tried most of the suggestions offered online but the the one suggestions that surprised me was WD40. Not sure if you've tried that and also using a rubber soled shoe over the mark.
I have always used a damp Magic Eraser and never had a problem with removal but maybe your floors have a different topping than mine.
Anyway there are several suggestions on this site so maybe there is one you have not tried.
My go to is mix baking soda and vinegar I equal proportions in a cup. Dip a white rag in the mix and gently rub out the spots. Do not let it sit and dry thoroughly between each attempt. It may take a few tries, but it works.
