Repairing the Ice Chute in Refrigerator Door?

The clear plastic ice chute that is in the door falls down and prevents the airlock from closing all the way. It can't come all of the way out, so I can't see what the problem is. My question is, how can I get the door apart to get to it? Can the cover on the outside of the door be popped off gain access to the chute? Thanks.

Call the manufacturer of your fridge to ask a good way to fix this problem. Otherwise I'd call a repair technician.

Without knowing the make and model of your fridge it'd be a dangerous question to answer.
