I have found that I can use my butter/margarine wrappers to grease a baking pan or skillet or butter a warm loaf of bread fresh out of the oven. I place the folded wrapper inside a ziplock bag to keep it fresh and then place the bag in my freezer. No need to use extra shortening or butter to prep a pan or skillet and the amount left on the wrapper is just the right amount to "glaze" a loaf of freshly baked bread.
