This is my dog Riley. We live in Queensland Australia . I recently had a swab DNA test done on Riley to see what type of dog he was. I was sure it would come back cattle dog cross, i.e: stumpy tail cattle dog cross with something else. But there was not one into trace of it in him, the only cattle dog in him was about 0.004 percent. He had more chihuahua in him than cattle dog! The highest they could find in him was chow chow at .092, which is a tiny fragment of somewhere far far far far back in his lines. Now, what in the world could he be if he is not cattle dog cross? Any ideas?
