Mason Jar Salad Ideas

A great way to take a salad to work for lunch is to put all of the ingredients in a reusable glass jar. This guide contains mason jar salad ideas.

Add salad dressing to the bottom of your jar. Then add layers of lettuce and whatever else you want in your salad. Put on the lid and take it in your lunch. The salad will not be wilted by lunch.

Oh, you mean "jar salads".....if you look on Pinterest you will see how that seems to be the rage! I have tried myself and also just used canning jars or other clean saved glass jars to store fresh veggies. You wouldn't believe how much longer they last! You will see different ideas and recipes for how to do it if you go on Pinterest and do a search for jar salads or canning jar salads, something like that.
