Salvaging Hardware from Junk

Vote for this contest contender!

Most things eventually fall apart, but not all at the same time. Here, two pairs of my boots became so worn out, they were too dangerous for wear. They were not suitable for donation, however, the silver hardware and laces were still like new. I removed them to use in crafts and sewing projects.

Darn good idea as all your ideas are. Does your mind ever stop thinking of new tips and recipes? :)

It's always a question of "what's next?"

Honey, it's not just the owl I never got around to gold leafing, I have buckets of this type stuff, enough to keep you busy for ages. I must post pictures of my junk and pick your noggin for ideas.

Got lots of belt buckles. Didn't someone make some very righteous (uptown/stylish) bracelets from them?

Ooo please show me what you've got to work with! This girl has got to get around to gold leafing too. I have them on my craft desk, just staring at me. :)
