My nephew will be turning two soon. Would a sippy cup be a good present? Is he too old for a sippy cup?

I think a 2 yr old can have a sippy cup, why not? I'm sure he can drink from a regular cup but open cups aren't always practical. It wouldn't have to be the babyish kind. There are ones that are more like a sports bottle. There are many different kinds in different colors with different motifs. Make sure to get one w/o any BPA and maybe one that is easy for his Mom to wash. He's only 2 afterall and that's pretty young. Perhaps you could find one in his favorite color or with a favorite character.
My opinion, yes. Two year olds should be able to use a regular cup. Get him a book like something by Richard Scarey, a pull toy, a teddy bear, or a nice tee shirt.
