Spanish Quiche in pie panI love creating new ways to make quiche. This one came out exceptionally well! You can make it as spicy as you want.

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven 375 F. Spray oil glass quiche dish.
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place in dish, forming a crinkled edging.
  3. rolling out pie dough in glass pan
     
  4. Place all the bacon evenly on the bottom of the crust and chopped scallions.
  5. In a bowl mix eggs, half n half, and seasonings. Beat well.
  6. Layer the feta cheese next over the bacon and then the cheddar cheese.

  8. Then pour egg mixture over the top. Carefully put the dish on a cookie sheet and place the dish in the center of the oven. For about 45 minutes, test by checking for done by the center.

Looks DELISH!! Also seems easy, and I think you could lighten it with egg substitute and possibly cut the half and half with 1%.

I cook a pound of bacon, to get a little over a cupful of crumbled bacon. I use whatever I get from a cooked pound. (it varies due to the fat content.) I hope that helped?

Sounds great! Quiche is so versatile. I consider it like pizza, with whatever toppings and ingredients you might like.
