I have 2 Janome HD1000 machines. Both have the same problem. The thread is getting caught and wrapping around a part inside. It winds around until the thread either snaps or the wheel can no longer turn. I don't understand how to get the thread out as there is no real access to it.

Use a flashlight and try to locate the pieces of thread or fabric that are stuck under the needle plate and causing your problems
