This is a computerized machine. You can restart it to see if that solves the problem. You may have a sensor or motherboard issue which would have to be serviced. Another idea is to contact Janome.com and ask them
I researched on the internet and everyone had different answers on resolving the issue. Or the issue resolved on it's own after awhile.
I would contact support to help guide you to fix your problem you're experiencing.
