Tips for Growing Hair Faster?

I have fairly long hair, but it isn't dead at the ends. I'm getting it cut, but I want it long again. What are some tips to grow it faster?

Some people's hair grows fast and some slow. You basically need to heat healthy to promote hair growth. At night you can try braiding your hair when you sleep. This works for some people.
If you want your hair long, why cut it?

Hair grows about a half inch a month. It does grow a bit faster in the summer. You can't accelerate the growth, but you can make your hair look its best by eating right, getting enough rest and having regular trims.

Believe it or not no one has invented a product to make our hair grow faster.. I have read stories about products that would do this but I would not count on that being true.

Keeping yourself healthy, and keeping your hair healthy, dead ends trimmed is the best thing for nice hair - long or short.

the only supplement that is recommended for hair and nails is Biotin so you might want to check that out and be sure to take your multi-vitamin and B12.

some people say that making a cayenne pepper and castor oil mix and massaging it into your scalp can help with hair growth

also that eating foods high in copper and also molasses with all its vitamins can too

yes biotin and b12

then there's the 'old wives tale' that says if you want your hair to grow back quicker/stronger, cut it in the waxing moonphase (new thru full) but avoid cutting it in the waning phase

in the end i'm not sure how anyone can prove or document what technique works or not since hair growth has many correlating factors, though i'd put my $ on nutrition as being a key component

Sorry to be the party pooper but hair doesn't grow faster because it's trimmed.

"A lot of people are fed the belief that trimming your hair makes it grow faster, but logic means that the very idea is flawed; hair is dead and cutting it sends no biological signals to your scalp that it needs to make more hair.

The only "living" portion of the hair is found in the follicle. The hair that is visible is the hair shaft, which exhibits no biochemical activity and is considered "dead". The base of a hair's root (the "bulb") contains the cells that produce the hair shaft." Apr 24, 2014

Eat a healthy diet, use castor oil rub into scalp, leave on thirty minutes, massage your scalp,be stress free.Use egg on your hair. Vitamin B-complex, in particular, is extremely important for making your hair grow faster.Flip your hair over for 2 minutes it promotes good circulation.
