Transparent Labels for Jars

Vote for this contest contender!

I cleaned up a Nutella jar and decided to reuse it as my personal drinking glass. So I printed out my name and labeled the jar. It looks better and neat with the transparent tape.

  1. Stick a piece of tape onto the name or word for your desired label.
  2. Rub it with the handle of your scissors so the paper will tightly stick onto the tape.
  3. Cut the label out neatly and soak in the bowl of water for 1 hour.

  5. After an hour, carefully scratch off the paper.
  6. Let it dry for a minute and stick it into your jar.

  8. You can always replace your label with your preferred design. This also works well with jar style containers for kitchen ingredients.
