Treating a Kitten with One Eye Closed and Swollen?

My kitten was born with one eye stuck shut and no signs of crusting over. It is 6 weeks old and the swelling is getting worse. I did warm compresses and it doesn't work. What can I do? I need help!

Eye conditions in cats are serious and need veterinary intervention. If you need financial assistance, talk to your local shelter and find a vet who works on a free for need or sliding scale prayers for healing. Post back an update.

Call the vet immediately. Your kitten could go blind if it is an infection
