I have a Triumph Adler Gabriele 9009. I haven't used it for about 15 years. I've just plugged it in and turned on the switch and it won't come on. I changed the fuse on the plug, but it still won't come on. I love this typewriter, can anyone help me?

Sometimes after years of not being used, things dont work once they are plugged in. We had that issue with an old refrigerator in the basement of the house we just bought. We unplugged it for six months and it didnt work when we plugged it back in. It wasnt worth having it fixed so we got rid of it.

No indicator(s) comes on ?? Even the "red dot" that is moving with the head / carriage ??
If so, open it and check, there are 3 fuses, 2 on the power supply, at the back, ONE ( hidden ) under the keyboard. Disconnect it from mains FIRST !!
