Use Pipe Cleaners to Attach Label Tags

Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 131 Posts

A butterfly tag attached to a plastic container with a pipe cleaner.I absolutely love to organize and label! I have attached labels with double sided tape, Velcro, and poster putty. All of those work perfectly if the container's surface is smooth and without holes. However, I bought a storage tower that only had space for strips from a small label maker.

Since I wanted the words to be larger, I came up with another way to attach bigger tags. I found butterfly cut-outs that I loved and laminated them. I then punched a hole in the center at the top of each. To attach the butterflies, I stuck the pipe cleaners through the holes and the middle slot of each drawer. With a quick twist, they were on! I just tucked the pipe cleaner that was sticking up behind the butterflies.

You could use any cut outs or tags that can be hole punched. And the best part about attaching the tags this way is how easy they'll be to change later if you need to!
