Address labels on CD jewel cases. All of us get "free" return address labels from various charitable organizations and they pile up. Here are some ways to use them.

  1. Write a real letter and use the label on your envelope for the return address.

  2. Stick them to books, records, CDs, DVDs that you lend to others to help them remember to return them.

  3. Stick them on pot luck dishes and utensils to make sure you get them back. Most labels will stick pretty well even when wet.

  4. Stick them inside your luggage in ALL the pockets to help get it back when the airline loses it.

  5. Stick them in the pockets of your handbag.

  6. Put one on each piece of camera equipment when you travel.

  7. Put one on each of your phone, tablets, laptops, etc. when you travel.

  8. Put one on the back of your toddlers t-shirt in case he gets lost at the mall.

  9. Use them like tape to fasten recipes to the inside of your kitchen cabinets.

  10. Use them like tape to fasten pictures to children's bedroom walls.

  11. Send a funny card to someone and use the label for your return address.

  12. Use them like tape to put things on your stainless steel refrigerator. Magnets won't stick to stainless steel.

  13. Wrap one around your pen. Then you can say "That's my pen. Give it back!" with a clear conscience.

  14. Stick several inside the next package you send in case the box is damaged and the post office has to figure out where to send it. At least you will get it back.

I've just had knee surgery and I'm using a cane and a walker. I'll put a label on that cane and also on my walker when I lend them out to the next person I know who needs them!

I've got enough of these to last for the next 100 years, so I use them like tape when I'm sewing or preparing a picture to mat--anytime I need a temporary adhesive.

I use these labels on my cane and umbrella. Once left the cane on shopping cart at the market, but was able to ID it from many other canes that had been lost at the market. Left the umbrella on the bus but was able to ID it among the other loss umbrellas
