Drinking Straw as Small Travel Containers - straws containing toothpaste, conditioner, and shampooSince traveling to me was so exciting, I have this tip for using drinking straw as containers. They can be easily kept inside our traveling bags!

Supplies:

  • drinking straws
  • scissors
  • candle
  • Pentel pen
  • pliers
Drinking Straw as Small Travel Containers - supplies
 

Steps:

  1. Cut the straw into 3 sections.
    2. Drinking Straw as Small Travel Containers - cut straw into 3 pieces

  2. Use pliers to press the bottom of the straw together and heat with candlestick for sealing.
    3. Drinking Straw as Small Travel Containers - bend one end of a straw piece with pliers
     
    Drinking Straw as Small Travel Containers - seal by holding over a candle
     
    Drinking Straw as Small Travel Containers - sealed ends
     
  3. Once the bottoms of the straws are sealed, you can now put shampoo, conditioner, or toothpaste in them. You can also put in some spices, like salt, pepper, etc.
    4. Drinking Straw as Small Travel Containers - fill

  4. When you're done filling these straw containers, you can seal the tip of the straw and label it.
