What is the value of a full 1979 set of Funk & Wagnalls encyclopedias including the dictionaries in perfect condition?

Many people have old books they think are valuable and would like to sell. Most old dictionaries, references etc., have very little value, a few dollars at most. Encyclopedias dated after 1923 are essentially worthless but crafters may be interested for the old pictures. Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc., receive donations of tons of old encyclopedias, dictionaries and reference books but send them to recycling centers or dumps as they cannot use or sell them.
There have been several of these questions. Most of these books are old and have little value. 1979 is old enough to be dated, but not old enough to be an antique with value.

The best place to find true value is probably eBay and sometimes Amazon. The problem is with the length of time it takes to sell a set. Many sellers have books like this listed for weeks/months/years and sometime they never sell and are just in storage (taking up space) gathering dust (and silverfish!).
