What is the approximate value of these fireplace items: 2 andirons, fireplace tools, and fireplace screen. These are solid brass, but I do not know the make or age. Do you know make, age, or anything else about these items? They were purchased at an estate sale.

Nice pieces! These sets are all over the place selling on eBay from 10 into the hundreds. Those with higher amounts typically have a brand or really unusual finial details, like horse shaped tops or a nautical theme. Regular finials are the basic standard feature, and unless they are a famous brand or extra ordinary quality, they fetch less than the fancy dance ones.
Without knowing their exact history, they could have been purchased new recently or could be a true antique. Are they very heavy, feel solid, they could be colder and more valuable. Or are they light weight, feel hollow, and have a high gloss shine, they could be newer and less valuable.
For something like this, I would take them to a reputable antique shoppe and ask them if they are worth insuring and for how much. They may be able to see or feel something that will tell you if these are a valuable set or a really lovely new set, with less market value!
