The price of copper platters that are selling online seems to vary so much. I did see a few of the larger ones that had some a design on them that people were asking 80-350 dollars for them. In your case, it might be necessary to seek the help of an expert in order to price the platter. Copper trays are very difficult to tell very much about. Similar trays/platters are very plentiful online and asking prices are just the amount of money a seller would like to receive for their items.
Quickest way to find an answer - take it to a large pawn shop and see what they can tell you about the age or value.

The mark does not sound familiar. The birds are (as best I can tell sandpipers or egrets. It has a Moroccan vibe to it...Morocco was a fairly prolific producer of copper type products like this--but it could be that it is from TJ Maxx from a few years ago designed to look like a vintage piece.
That is one of the challenges with things these days is so much new stuff is made intentionally to look old. Do you know any history of it?
I also see a hook on the back which would mean this is not a tray, but a wall hanging. I tray would not have a hook as it would ruin the table. Or someone converted a try to be a hanging.
At one point copper was worth more for scrap than reselling as is, but I think those days have passed--especially since this is such an ornate pattern.
If you have a good vintage dealer in your town they could tell you what it could fetch in your market (and verify it is vintage and not a TJ Maxx piece).
I see true vintage trays of this size with people asking (never selling, but asking) in the $150-200 range. If they are not selling that means they are over priced or not in demand, or both.
Perhaps you are in market where you could realize a nice sum like that!

Copper trays can surprise you because they can be very old, old or fairly new and it is difficult for a lay person to really tell the difference.
I only use Reddit for special things and never tried what's it worth so not sure but if you can find out any information about this tray you can post beck here and we'll try to help with value.

This tray and many others are online for various asking prices. I did not see one identical to yours. The cost of copper can very on how much it contains in the piece. A professional can preform a test on it and also tell you the info/value . Online there are so many that range from $10 to over $100.
