Value of Porcelain Doll?

A porcelain doll wearing purple and white.I was wondering if there was anything special about this doll. I found it and tried to give it to my friend's daughter. It scared the crap out of her so I'd like to know as much as possible.

There does not appear to be anything 'special' about this doll; just an inexpensive mass produced doll.
You do not say how old the child is so that may be a factor or perhaps the way it was presented to her (or the person doing the presenting) startled her.
Perhaps she was sleepy or just awaken from a nap?
Young children can become frightened over many things so perhaps if you leave the doll where she can see it but not touch her, she will like it later on.
This may not be a doll is suitable for a child under 3 years of age.

It would be helpful if you knew the brand name. Often it is on the back neck of the doll, unless you have the packaging . This helps with value.

As it looks now, this doll is one of hundreds , and online sales are down due to so many on the market. The average sales is $5 to $25.

This looks like a mass-produced doll worth less than $25.

To tell more about this doll, we need more information. Try to look for at least some marks on the doll or her clothes. Maker's marks can be placed on the back of the head or neck, or between the shoulder blades, or on the bottom of the feet, or on the doll's clothing tags, or on the back of the head under her hair.

This doll is most likely made in China and is not expensive.
The reaction of children cannot always be explained, so there is nothing scary about this doll.
