Weeding Advice?

This is a general question that would put an old argument at home to rest! Does weeding after watering in any way harm the garden shrubs and plants? I actually find that weeding after watering is ideal as the weed roots slip out from the tangle they may have with the other plants much more easily.

The only way it may injure any plants is if the plant gets uprooted with the weed in the soil. Usually though you can just tamp the half lifted plant back into place and it will be alright. It is true that weeding after a good rain is easier to remove weeds. I always wait until after a rain to do weeding.
