Ligularia,is a beautiful plant! It loves half and half sun/shade.To much sun will brown or yellow this plant.Also if the weather is very hot with drought it tends to wilt.
It is a leopard plant. It is supposed to have spots.
Is it possible you have the Leopard Plant (which is a variety of the Ligularia)?
These are supposed to have yellow spots.
