What Bred Is This Puppy?

We rescued him by the landfill. We think he may be part Shepherd, but are not sure. He has nice sized feet.

We would love to have an idea since we want to find him a new home. Sorry these are not very good pics. puppy in yard near dog dish

I think there is more pitbull than shepherd in this dog.

Hope you can find the pup a loving home. To me the ears have hound shape/lines. Maybe a beagle. I see the Shepherd colors on the snout but it is shorter than the standard which could be the Pit.
