She is about 10 years old, but looks very young. She seems to have the face of a Pit Bull, but is very sweet and easy going with anyone. Whenever she feels threatened by another dog, the hairs at the end of her back stand up straight and whenever she plays, she gets very aggressive, like barking and growling. Any guesses?

Looks like a pit bull to me. Possibly a red nosed pit bull which is just what they call pit bulls with her type of coloring. Its possible she is a Pit mix but I dont really see any other prevalent markings to suggest what she would be mixed with.
