What Breed Is My Dog?

tan and spotted puppyI work at a school and some students found this puppy on the way to school. I took him to the vet and she estimated he was around 9 weeks old and weighed 2.69 pounds. He is now 12 weeks and weighs 3.2 pounds. He is very playful and loves biting. His coloring is different and the vet said it was not brindle because of the spots on his back. I would like to know what kind of dog this is so we can learn more about his temperament. Any help would be wonderful!

I believe you have a mixture of several breeds here.

When you get to know your little dog, you will know all about his temperament. Some dogs are "true to breed," temperament-wise. Others are very unlike their breed. So breed is a guide to go by but is not the only thing that can tell a dog's temperament. Spending time with him will tell you.
