What Breed Is My Dog?

My parents and I have been trying to figure out what my dog is mixed with. We were thinking a German Shepherd/Lab mix or a Mastiff/Lab mix. All three are great breeds; we just are not sure which. Any ideas?

This is a question that many people on this site ask.

  • You will need to do a DNA test for your dog in order to determine the breed or mixed breeds of the dog.
  • Your vet can do this for you, but it is rather expensive.
  • Purchase a home DNA kit at your local pet shop or online.
  • Do the test at home yourself. This will tell you what the breed or mixed breed of your dog is.
