He doesn't look like a full bred pit bull. The ears and the eyes are pitty, but the long nose and markings are different. The markings sort of look like a Terrier. Pitbulls are very, very, sweet dogs when raised to be pets.

Aww what a gorgeous dog! He looks to be a Pitbull cross - maybe with a Staffordshire bull terrier? Such a beauty! Monique :)

Definitely a pit bull or a pit mix.

I believe your dog is from the bulldog ancestry. I had one (pitbull) for 14 years and she was the most affectionate and funny dog I've ever had.

She lived in a multipet family, cats, birds dogs etc. and we never had any issues. Just love and train her.

It looks like an American Staffordshire Terrier. I know because my dog and your dog look like identical twins! They have the exact same nose, ears, and markings.

Looks like it to me. He just hasn't had his ears clipped.

I don't know how big your dog is? Maybe pit bull... Staffordshire is more likely. Perhaps bull terrier (one of the ancestors of the "Pit" bull) or maybe even a combination of two or more.

Looks to be a cutie no matter what!

Got staffy ears, so probably a pit bull cross staff. Hard to tell as staffys vary so much in size, weight and shape of their faces. My staffy looks cross pit bull but probably far down her ancestry line.

I find it hard to see your baby as anything else other than a bull breed, and what a beautful beautiful baby you have! Hope you have many happy years together.

What do you think of mine people say he could be a pit bull mix, but I'm not sure.

That's definitely a pit bull. I think mine is a American pit bull and a pit cross mastiff. He's massive btw. I'm 6'1ft and when he stands up he's almost as tall as me what do you think?

This isn't a great picture of him, though.

Hi, does anyone have any idea what breed my dog might be? We were told when we got him that he was a staffie cross, but the more he's grown the less 'staffie' he seems, my friend has a purebred staffie and stood next to her he looks very different, a lot taller, more athletically (did I spell it right?!lol) built and longer muzzle, plus wherever we go people comment that he looks a lot like a pit bull mix, which I don't mind but they're illegal here :/ Has a fantastic temperament, just loves other dogs, no aggression at all, if anyone could help I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance. ;)

Here is another one of these A. pit bull monsters, that's always loose in our street. Its as dumb as can be and barks all night at foxes and possums. They are banned here in Australia also, but scammers sell them as bull terriers.

I have a staffy x pitbull and they look the same sort of breed. However they're both verry lovely pets to have around. xx he looks more staffy though.
