I recently adopted my dog from the animal shelter. They put him down as a Chihuahua. I had a Chihuahua when I was a little kid and it looked nothing like this one. I've gotten lots of comments from people saying he looks like a fox. At first glance, I agree he does. I know he's definitely mixed, I'm just curious as to what exactly.

Looks like a Corgie mix to me, especially the head and tail. Do an images search using the term corgie mix to look at thousands of pictures, I'm pretty sure you'll see most look like your darling dog!
Autumn, I'm wondering what shelters you got him from? He looks identical to my Chihuahua-mini pin that was stolen from me in January. I have been searching for him non stop since then.
