Cupcakes with apple pie in the middle. Put a layer of the batter in muffin tins. Put the apple pie filling and top with more batter.
I feel like I am on the show "Chopped" and my basket has just two items!
You can make:
Cake pops and apple dipping sauce would be yummy
Apple crumble
Apple cobbler
Apple brown betty (my personal fav)
You can use (with savory spices) the cake mix to make a breading for chicken or pork and then turn the apples into a barbecue/glaze. Just be careful that the glaze does not burn...as the sugars in the apples will burn quickly.
