What Is This Houseplant?

What Is This Houseplant? - grafted cactus appearing fan shaped plantI received this as a gift and it came with just generic care instructions. It would be nice to know what it is to at least know how to best care for it. Thanks.

I believe your plant is a Coral cactus.

  • This is not a true cactus but it is a "grafted" plant but care is about the same as a true cactus and requires very little attention but most importantly, it requires very little water.
  • They also are poisonous and their white sap can inflame the eyes, mucous membranes and skin.
  • Here is a link that explains about how to care for your plant.

My research shows it is a spurge cristada, a member of the cactus family. Dont overwater!
